Author Biography:

Fiona Watt is an Editorial Director and writer at Usborne Publishing. She graduated from Exeter University with a Bachelor of Education in Art and Design. She taught for three years at a primary school in Kent, before spending two years at a British school in The Netherlands. She started working at Usborne in 1989 and has written and edited hundreds of books including baby and novelty, sticker, art and craft, cookery, science and activity books. She has written all the titles in the award-winning THAT'S NOT MY(R) series and many in the highly successful Sticker Dolly Dressing series. She is the sixth biggest-selling UK children's author, with over 10 million of her books sold in the UK since records began. Rachel Wells is a mother, writer and cat lover. She lives in Devon with her family and her pets and believes in the magic of animals. Rachel grew up in Devon but lived in London in her twenties working in marketing and living in a tiny flat with an elderly rescued cat, Albert. After having a child she moved back to Devon and decided to take the plunge and juggle motherhood with writing. She has always wanted to write and found her voice in her first novel, 'Alfie the Doorstep Cat'. She has always had cats as pets, ever since a young child.     We offer free shipping on all orders over $150 - NZ wide! To qualify for free shipping you must spend $150.00 or more in a single transaction after discounts are applied.

    Otherwise we have a flat rate of $8, for nationwide shipping in NZ.

    We use overnight local delivery from Christchurch, and approximately two working days for all other urban destinations in NZ. Sometimes shipments are faster, however please do allow 2-3 days for delivery especially with ongoing delays due to covid.

    PLEASE NOTE: For rural deliveries expect a further two days delivery time. Yes it takes slightly longer unfortunately, but the added bonus is there are no extra costs for you! 

    Please ensure your shipping/delivery details are correct as we cannot take any responsibility for lost packages should the wrong details be given.

    Click and Collect - Christchurch only
    We are a Christchurch based company and happy for customers to collect their order free of charge. Please reach out via email (hello@dappermrbear.com) or our social media channels for a code to use at checkout. Normally we can arrange collection the same day, however we do need some warning as we are not at our warehouse all of the time.

    Australia
    We have a flat rate of $18 to Australia. Please note this is a non tracked option. Standard shipping – 8-12 working days through NZ Post.

    We also have a flat rate tracked option to Australia of $28 for non bulky items. Timeframes on these orders are 8-12 working days through NZ Post. Tracking will be emailed at time of your order being dispatched.

    Worldwide
    We have a flat rate of $45 to the rest of the world. Standard shipping option - 10-15 working days through NZ Post.

    We have a flat rate of $65 tracked to the rest of the world (for non bulky items - please check carefully the listing on the website).

    Orders containing bulky items will be cancelled if prior arrangements haven't been made to ship these internationally and appropriate shipping rates paid.

    Please be aware that the purchaser is liable for any additional taxes/import duty that may incur during transit and/or on delivery. Please also note that we do not ship art prints to international destinations.


    Shipping Timeframes
    We will endeavour to ship your goods within 48 hours of receiving your order. Please note we do not ship over the weekend or on public holidays, so any orders placed on a Friday afternoon/Saturday/Sunday it will go out the following Monday/Tuesday. Please note during high peak times (sale time) we endeavour to get orders out within 3-5 working days. Should you require your order urgently please advise this when ordering and we will do our best to get your order out ASAP.

    Confirmation of your items being shipped, will be sent to you via email. It will include tracking details for you to follow the package's journey!
